Chrystal contacted me and said she wanted to do something out of the box, fresh & different. So I asked her would she consider doing some photos inspired by Beyoncé' & Jay Z's "Drunk In Love". Her response to that was "Ooh La' La'. So we made it happen while making sure that the entire family was involved as well. Thanks for trusting me & following my creative vision, I had a great time doing family portraits.
This wedding was one that I will never forget. The energy of excitement & love was no doubt in the air. The party never stopped once it started. From beginning to end I enjoyed it & from the looks of it you both did as well. Your father was no doubt there in spirit, and I'm sure he smiled to see his daughter living life the way he intended you to. With my own eyes I saw your family assisting in everyway to make sure this day was all bout the both of you & nothing else. If we celebrate the union of family in it's purest form, then we embody what LOVE was really created for: To Love Each Other Unconditionally! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special occasion.
I was really looking forward to sharing this special day with a great couple who I truly believe were meant to be together. I enjoy doing engagement sessions of couples before their wedding, because it gives me the opportunity to build a relationship with them. I kinda get to know them a little, and they get a chance to hear some of my dry jokes (but hey some couples find them funny, lol). If they don't laugh I just shut up, & continue snapping my camera. The Wedding Coordinator, "Mrs Andrea Clark" told me that this would be a wedding with a Mardi Gras Theme, so I was quite sure by the end of the night, that a second line band would show up at some point. The Ceremony Was Beautiful As Pastor Jones graced us with his sincere words of marriage wisdom infused with his comedic relief. When I got to the reception I immediately began capturing all the details of the décor. As the night went on, the Groom tapped me on my shoulder & said....I see that you are really passionate about what you do. I responded, "Can you tell that much"? He said, "Yeah...I can really tell". I strive at every event to give my clients every ounce of energy I have. Often couples have to force me to take a break, but hey, I just believe that if you don't take pride in what you do, people notice that as well. Thank you Danetta & Brandon for allowing me to be a part of this momentous occasion in your life. Love Living Life & Live Life Loving Always!
One night I was scrolling down my Facebook newsfeed when all of a sudden I saw one of my old high school friend's relationship status change from single to engaged. Chartina also posted pictures of her fiancé Jermaine and her beautiful ring as well. We had a great time during the session despite the rather chilly weather conditions. Congrats again to you both, and we look forward to sharing with you on your special day also.
